Meet & Greet with Chamber of Commerce, SCORE, and Villanova University

[Springfield, PA]—On Tuesday, March 15th Delaware County Chamber of Commerce was proud to team up with SCORE of Delaware and Chester Counties, and Villanova Ideas Accelerator to network and promote Villanova’s Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Institute. The event was an opportunity for attendees to learn about the free resources provided by the ICE Institute, and how these resources could help grow and manage their businesses. ICE Institute’s Assistant Director, Eamon Gallagher said, “It was a great event last night.  We are excited to have that kind of energy in the Idea Accelerator and I hope this will be the start of many great events to come with the Delaware County Chamber, SCORE and the local business community.”

The night also allowed SCORE to present and discuss their own business related workshops, throughout the county, available at little or no cost. Attendees learned, while working with SCORE, they would be working with a power team of business mentors available to them on an as needed basis. SCORE’s past Chairman, Gerald Francis explained, “From my perspective, I heard many people express what they learned last night and how they can use the various organizations to assist and grow their businesses.  That was the objective of the program, and I believe we met expectations.”

The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce staff discussed the resources and benefits of Chamber membership. Chamber President, Trish McFarland stated, “Last night was a great success, and we are excited for the collaboration of all three organizations. We look forward to growing our partnership with both SCORE of Delaware and Chester Counties and the ICE Institute at Villanova.”

The night was successful providing Chamber members and local businesses alike to interact and grow their personal networks. Attendees realized how all three organizations can work together to provide full support in growing their businesses and moving their business ideas forward.
